Nuclear People is a collection of short stories by Mona Rae Miracle. I have previously read My Sister Marilyn (this is a treasure about family love and unique circumstances--I would not miss reading this special story)and Wesley's Gift--a wonderful story--by this author.I particularly enjoyed Primitive Venus, a paleolithic setting involving extended kinship, Two Dads where Stan has to step back and watch other father/son interactions (from behind a counter)before he realizes his love for his father, Undertow shows where family members let Gene realize his love for his soul mate and Feather where complex relations help lead to simple and pure love. All of these are about family relations and about how family members changed their circumstances/opinions to come together in harmony.
I recommend this book to those who would enjoy reflecting/enhancing family relationships.
